• VMware recommends that you take a snapshot of NSX Manager prior to performing an upgrade. Verify that the snapshot is committed after you are satisfied with the upgrade. VMware also recommends that you back up your current configuration and download technical support logs before upgrading. • A forced resync with the vCenter Server might be required after an NSX Manager upgrade. To do this, log in to the NSX Manager web interface and select Manage vCenter Registration > NSX Management Service > Edit, and re-enter the password for the vCenter Server user name.
