As outlined previously, to develop a secure and trusted multitenancy service model with vCenter Server, isolation and service assurance are the primary concerns. The “trusted” portion of the model relates to the visibility and control offered to the tenants to verify the environment. To support these fundamental requirements, the trusted multitenant model on the vCenter Server platform must be built on six foundational elements as shown in the following graphic.
