7.3 Database Status
The status of the embedded vFabric Postgres database can be obtained using the following command:
root> su – postgres –c “/opt/vmware/vpostgres/current/bin/pg_ctl status -D "/opt/vmware/vpostgres/current/data"”
The output is similar to the following:
pg_ctl: server is running (PID: 2880)
/opt/vmware/vpostgres/9.2/bin/postgres "-D" "/opt/vmware/vpostgres/current/data"
