Cloud computing leverages the efficient pooling of an on-demand, self-managed, virtual infrastructure that is consumed as a service. VMware vCloud is the VMware solution for cloud computing that enables delivery of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Additional “as a Service” reference architectures may be layered on top of a VMware vCloud built using vCAT.
