5.11.2 Load Balancing Architecture Options
In a vCloud Director environment there are a number of options for implementing load balanced vApps. Differences in architecture are based on the type of load balancer used. The main use cases are:
External hardware-based load balancer.
Third-party virtual appliance load balancer.
vCloud Networking and Security Edge
used as a load balancer.
